Is the published compensation guaranteed?
micro1 publishes a range of $100K–$2M+; offers depend on data volume and quality and micro1 approval. This is company compensation in US dollars, not a valuation or guaranteed payout. There may be no offer. We cannot estimate a payout from headcount alone.
Can a UK company apply?
The enterprise and defunct-company routes described here include UK opportunities, subject to current programme checks. Video Data Collection Partner UK eligibility is to be confirmed (TBC).
What does the first assessment cost?
The initial eligibility conversation carries no client charge. micro1 may pay us a referral fee at no cost to you. Any separate paid advisory scope would be explained and agreed in advance.
Should I send an export of our data?
No. Send only a high-level description of systems, scale and circumstances. Any later access or transfer requires separate assessment, agreed safeguards and authorisation.
Does removing names make data safe to share?
Not necessarily. People may remain identifiable from context, metadata or combinations of details. Pseudonymised data can remain personal data.
What if the company is being wound up?
We start with the appointment, authority, ownership and preservation timetable. Data should not be assumed freely transferable simply because the company has stopped trading.
How long will it take?
Timing depends on the records, decision-makers, privacy review and micro1’s process. We agree next steps after the initial conversation; no fixed completion time is promised.
Can I stop after the introduction?
You decide whether to proceed with any proposed arrangement. Review any terms before signing; an introduction itself is not an instruction to transfer data.
Can we film workplace activity?
The video route requires 20+ staff and describes $8–$10 per approved hour. UK eligibility is TBC. Worker privacy, permissions, bystanders and confidential material need review before any filming.
